Burt's Bees believe that what's not in their products is as important as what is. Certain synthetic ingredients, like phthalates, petrolatum and DMDM Hydantoin, should never be used in any personal care products labelled "natural."

This toner is great. I have very sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate my skin. One thing worth considering is the bottle is glass. It wouldn't be great for travelling, so I just decant to a travel container.
