Neom

Originally called Natural Magic, Neom was founded in 2005 by Nicola Elliott and Oliver Mennell. Elliott had been working as an editor for Glamour magazine, and through this work became increasingly aware of the importance of the ingredients used in beauty products. She decided to learn more by studying aromatherapy and realised that although a growing number of people were concerned about what went into their products, the only companies catering to them seemed to be compromising on efficacy and quality. Through research, the pair found out that most candles were made from paraffin wax and synthetic fragrances, so they decided to make natural candles the first product they designed, using vegetable wax and essential oils.

 

We love that with Elliott’s product knowledge and Mennell’s business expertise, the pair decided to produce a range of products that not only use the kindest, most beneficial ingredients, but look and smell beautiful and feel luxurious to use.

 

The Neom range grew in popularity and was quickly expanded to include home fragrance and body products, and soon the brand had a presence at spas and salons across the UK. We discovered the range when one of the girls from Bath & Unwind HQ visited a spa and received a massage treatment in the warm glow of a Neom candle. She was very impressed by the scent, and how Neom had successfully achieved the balance of natural and luxury, and felt Bath & Unwind customers would feel the same.

 

With a commitment to using only natural, organic and beneficial ingredients, Neom products do not contain synthetics, petrochemicals, parabens or SLS, so you can have confidence in what you are using on your skin and in your home. The Neom collection uses high percentages of essential oils so as well as caring for your body, the products work as an aromatherapy treatment to relax, calm or energise you.

We love all the Neom candles here at Bath & Unwind HQ, as even when they are not burning they make the office smell amazing. However, with its gorgeous blend of white neroli, mimosa and lemon, the Neom Happiness Candle embodies the scent of spring and will uplift you on even the gloomiest of days, and is the current office favourite.
