Renowned salon brand Fudge, takes care of all your hairs styling, colour and care needs.
New packaging, but same great formula, just with a new fragrance!
Counteract those yellow, brassy tones in bleached, highlighted and natural blonde hair with Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Toning Shampoo. This purple-pigmented shampoo is the exact opposite on the colour spectrum of those pesky yellow undertones which can make blondes brassy, and works to neutralise the tone of hair to give it a cool, ashy blonde tint.
Formulated with hydrating guarana to nourish locks which have been compromised by bleaching, it leaves the hair beautifully clean and touchably soft.
Please note: this shampoo is more pigmented than other purple or silver shampoos on the market, and there is a possibility that overuse or leaving the product on hair for too long may cause unwanted purple pigment to remain on the hair.
Also available in mini 50ml size.
How to use Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Toning Shampoo
Ideal for use once a week to remove yellow tones.
1. Apply to wet hair, lather evenly throughout the hair and ensure hands are rinsed to reduce staining
2. Leave on for 2-3 minutes, for thicker hair, or hair with brassier tones, leave on for up to 5 minutes
3. Rinse thoroughly
3. Finish with your regular conditioner
Please note, if left on for too long, this conditioner can leave bleached hair with a purple tone.
More frequent use can also dry the hair out.

Would definitely recommend this toning shampoo if you have yellow/brassy tones in your hair. In the past I have tried many purple shampoos including John Freida, Provoke, Lee Strafford and they have never had as much effect as this one! Even after one wash it toned my brassiness right down! Very happy with my purchase and wasn't too expensive ! Lasts ages! :) :)
Seriously works taking out the yellow on dyed blonde hair. I tend to damp my hair, then apply shampoo and leave on for a couple of minutes before rinsing to really let the product work. I've tried other brands for silver shampoos, but this one is the only one that really works. Cheers.
I got this product really promptly- and my only complaint about the delivery was that the box was partially open on arrival- the box wasn't very well taped, and one flap was entirely open. The box was also quite unnecessarily large for the single product I ordered. The packaging was unassuming and plain- one recommendation for the company would be to invest in better packaging- it'd be wonderful to get something a bit more 'luxe'.
I used the product itself for the first time today- I sectioned my hair into three, in the bath, worked the product thoroughly into the lengths and ends of my hair, and then applied it to the roots, and really made an effort to distribute it evenly and massage it in for a good couple of minutes. I then clipped my hair up, and left it for around three and a half minutes, before rinsing it out thoroughly. I found that it did take a long time to get all the product out, until the water ran clear, and I'm still fairly certain some product was in my hair afterwards. I then did a quick wash with the product, focussing on the hair at my temples. I rinsed again, did a third wash- this time with a different, non toning shampoo, to make sure none of the violet shampoo was left on my scalp, and then deep conditioned my hair.
It's almost completely erased the brassiness in my hair, and I am certain that if I had left it on for five minutes, it would be entirely gone. I strongly recommend this product to others- by far the most effective toning shampoo I've encountered- although it does stain the skin, as other reviews have mentioned.
